Duties:	Assume teaching responsibilities as a sessional instructor for the Theatre Department, Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Responsibilities will include teaching THEA 252: Entertainment Technology. Fridays, 9 am to noon. Further course information is available at http://www.viu.ca/calendar/FineArts/theatre.asp
	Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.
Required Qualifications:	Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and related experience in the field. Proven ability to work with students in a creative and learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:	Master's Degree in Technical Theatre. Teaching experience in a post secondary environment. Professional experience in live theatre and production.
