| Duties: |
Design and deliver courses, including development of learning objectives and determination of learning approaches. Assess and evaluate student achievement in undergraduate and/or graduate programs.
The Accounting Department seeks candidates with varied teaching experience in a number of subject areas such as: Taxation Financial Accounting Managerial Accounting Assurance Forensic Accounting To assist us in our selection, identify the areas you are qualified to teach in your application. Specifically ensure that your submission includes your qualifications to teach Financial Accounting and/or Taxation as well as your abilities in the other subject areas. The Instructor should possess the requisite experience and expertise both in teaching and in the content areas for each subject area that you identify as being qualified to teach. | Required Qualifications: |
A Master's degree in a related area from an appropriately accredited institution and membership in good standing with a Canadian Professional Accounting Organization (CA, CGA, CMA or CPA). A demonstrated competency at working effectively in a team-oriented environment. Have a strong focus on teaching and student learning; a track record of related scholarly activity; subject currency and the ability to be responsive to diverse learning styles, cultural and academic backgrounds. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
A doctoral degree (or ABD) with an appropriate specialization. |
