The Instructor should possess the requisite experience and expertise both in teaching and in the content areas for each subject area that you identify as being qualified to teach. Candidates are requested to supply curriculum vitae/resume and the names of three referees, one of whom supervised the candidate in a recent and related function.
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.
A Master's degree in a related area from an appropriately accredited institution and membership in good standing with a Canadian Professional Accounting Organization (CA, CGA, CMA or CPA). A demonstrated competency at working effectively in a team-oriented environment. Have a strong focus on teaching and student learning; a track record of related scholarly activity; subject currency and the ability to be responsive to diverse learning styles, cultural and academic backgrounds.|
A doctoral degree (or ABD) with an appropriate specialization.|
