Here is the information regarding the prerequisite GEOG 328 equivalent course (it's NOT the actual GEOG 328 course, but an accepted equivalent):
- Student must apply to the ADGISA program first.
- If an applicant doesn't have an introductory GIS course equivalent to GEOG 328, but meets all other admission requirements, the applicant is given a 'conditional acceptance' – conditional upon successfully completing an introductory GIS course.
- Student can then enroll in the completely online CMES001 ESRI Introduction course, this can be done via tel 1-866-734-6252 (or 250-740-6160 in Nanaimo).
- Cost is 250CAD
- Key code and CD will be sent by mail from Vancouver Island University to the student's mailing address once they have registered and paid for the CMES 001 course.
- Once course is completed, student needs to provide print-out of ESRI certificate that is generated in ESRI web site to Vancouver Island University. This certificate can be sent by mail to:
