Current Job Postings

Received from potential employer (Oct 2010):

I work with Environment Canada Emergencies Section in Vancouver.
We have a need of a student, past graduate with a strong technical background in GIS for this winter term.  The person would work in support to our sections new emergency mapping tool (ESRI flex platform).  The project is currently in final stages of debugging phase 1 and 2.  A significant work load remains related to data; data capture, data clean-up, data modeling.  As it is a national project some work will be within a national project team.  Please note that the contractor was ESRI Victoria Office.
I doubt we can offer relocation expenses but thought you might have students or past graduates looking for additional work experience (4 months) who might fit our needs and be interested in working in Vancouver.
Thanks for your consideration.
