Where to Find Us

If you are not familiar with our location you might want to look at one of our maps:

Malaspina Campus - The Malaspina Campus is located in Nanaimo, BC. There is some metered parking available near Building 200, Student Services. Try this lot first. You can also park in any of the lots not specifically reserved for faculty and staff. Parking is often scarce at VIU's main campus. Make sure to leave enough time to find a parking space if you are driving your own car.  The parking machines accept quarter, loonies, toonies, and credit cards.

Cowichan Campus - The campus is located in Duncan one block off the TCH on Cowichan Way across the street from the Canadian Superstore and next door to the Quw'utsun' Cultural & Conference Centre. Watch for highways signs. Parking is free. Student Services is in building number 601. The address is:

Education Counsellors are available Monday to Friday by appointment; drop-in  advising is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9 am - 12 pm; phone 250-746-3509.

Parksville/Qualicum Centre - Located in the Parksville Civic & Technology Centre on Jensen Avenue East, in the heart of Parksville.  Parking is available on Craig Street. The address is: 100 Jensen Avenue East (2 floor)

Advising is done out of Nanaimo.

Powell River Campus - Located at 100 - 7085 Nootka Street in room 118. Parking is FREE!

The Student Services department is open 5 days per week. You can book an appointment to see an Educational Counsellor in Powell River at 604-485-2878.
