Preparing for an Appointment

There are a few things that you might consider doing before arriving for your appointment:

  1. Look at our calendar (printed or on-line) and/or our program guides and familiarize yourself with what is in them. Determine what you do, or do not, understand. 
  2. Think about your career objectives and educational goals and how our program offerings might assist you in achieving them.
  3. Reflect on your life and work experience (prior learning) and how it relates to your goals.
  4. Write down any questions to help prevent the "Oops I should have asked......?" syndrome. 
  5. Remember to bring some  quarters in case you need to park in the metered parking.
  6. Arrive early, there may be printed material you can review.
  7. Take a deep breath and relax, our advisors are here to help.
