Preparing for an Appointment
There are a few things that you might consider doing before arriving for your appointment:
- Look at our calendar (printed or on-line) and/or our program guides and familiarize yourself with what is in them. Determine what you do, or do not, understand.
- Think about your career objectives and educational goals and how our program offerings might assist you in achieving them.
- Reflect on your life and work experience (prior learning) and how it relates to your goals.
- Write down any questions to help prevent the "Oops I should have asked......?" syndrome.
- Remember to bring some quarters in case you need to park in the metered parking.
- Arrive early, there may be printed material you can review.
- Take a deep breath and relax, our advisors are here to help.
