VIU Degree Advisors

Students who are completing the first year of programs and are intending to complete degrees at VIU should speak to a degree advisor. VIU has degree advisors in the following programs who can help you choose courses to make sure that you meet graduation requirements:

Bachelor of Arts (all of the Majors and Minors)

Students are encouraged to meet with their BA Upper Level Advisor upon completion of 24 credits to complete a Record of Degree Program (RDP) to declare their Major/Minors. Please note VIU GPS helps you look at options but is not an official declaration of your Major/Minors. You need to meet with your degree advisor to accomplish this. Sign up sheets for appointments are found near their doors.
