Preparatory Programs
- Do you need to upgrade to meet course or program admission requirements?
- Do you have a disability and need to acquire work and life skills?
- If English is not your first language, do you need to improve your language skills?
If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, you will want to find more about our Career and Academic Preparation programs.
For those of you interested in upgrading courses in Nanaimo you can go to our Adult Basic Education Home Page. You may need to complete an assessment before signing up for courses. This assessment will help to determine your proper placement in courses and you will also have a chance to talk to a Student Success Advisor about your plan. There is an information session every Monday at 2:30 in Building 205, room 204 (excluding holidays). You do not have to register for these sessions. An assessment can be booked at the information session, if necessary.
