VIU Hosts Sturgeon Conference
More than 100 sturgeon researchers,
biologists, managers and enthusiasts from around the world, attended a four day conference in June 2011 held at VIU's Nanaimo campus in the New International Centre for Sturgeon Studies.

 Convocation Ceremonies Go Online
Hundreds of people from around the world were able to watch their family and friends graduate, as the convocation ceremonies streamed live online for the first time.
