Refrigeration Level 2

Refrigeration Mechanic Level 2 starting May 14, 2012. We will be offering this six week training each year through our Cowichan Campus in Duncan.

This program will run Monday-Thursday from 8am-3pm

You must have either completed the HVAC program or Level 1 Refrigeration to attend.

Level 2 consists of 180hrs of classroom and shop activities:

• Refrigeration code
• Arc welding
• Air measurement tools
• Application of computers in trade
• Transformers, Modulating motors
• Single phase motors
• Three phase motors
• Heat transfer, insulation
• Multi-temp, centrifugal systems
• Food preservation
• Air conditioning fundamentals
• Refrigeration system components
