Horticultural Therapy

Offered at Nanaimo

Applicants meet English 12 with “C+” or equivalent, and Principles or Applications of Math 11 with “C” or equivalent. Applicants without Math 11 may write the assessment which consists of:

Math	19/30	30 questions – multiple choice: word problems, averages, graphing, reading tables, perimeter and area of polygons, triangle geometry, algebra (exponents, order of operations, solving simple equations, substitution, formula manipulation, translating from words to equations, common factoring).	40 minutes
Approximate Time: 45 minutes

A calculator is permitted.

To help you prepare for the assessment the following Learning Centres are available at no cost:

Nanaimo Learning Centre, Building 205, Room 204. Open hours are usually Mon – Fri, 10:30 – 2:30. Call 250 740 6425 to confirm hours of operation.

Cowichan Campus Learning Centre, Building 601. Call 250 746 3509 to schedule an appointment.

Powell River Campus Learning Centre, Call 604 485 2878 to confirm hours of operation.
