  • exponents - basic
  • word problems
  • algebra - solve simple equations with 1 unknown quantity
  • geometry: area, perimeter/circumference
  • simple square roots
  • metric - units and conversion

60 minutes

A dictionary is not permitted. A calculator is permitted.

Assaessment fee $15 payable when you write assessment. To help you prepare for the assessment the following Learning Centres are available:

Nanaimo Learning Centre, Building 205, Room 106. The Center is usually open Tues – Thurs, 11:30am – 2:30pm. Call 250 740 6425 to confirm hours of operation.

Cowichan Campus Learning Centre, Building 601. Call 250 746 3509 to schedule an appointment

Powell River Campus Learning Centre, Call 604 485 2878 to confirm hours of operation.
