SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Tests)

SAT is offered at Vancouver Island University Nanaimo Campus on the following dates:

Many colleges and universities in the USA use the SAT as an indicator of a student’s readiness to do college-level work. Most require or recommend SAT plus one or more SAT Subject Tests. SAT measures verbal and mathematical reasoning skills. SAT Subject Tests measure knowledge on a particular academic subject. Students may register for SAT or up to three SAT Subject Tests per sitting.

Note:

• Our Country Code, 651 and Test Centre Number, 94436 are needed to register online or by mail.

*Print off Confirmation and Admission Ticket when online registration is completed. Bring this with you on test day.

Place:

• Bldg 200, 2nd Floor, Nanaimo Campus
• enter building by north side 2nd Floor door

Time:

• Check in for testing starts at 7:45am. SAT starts at approximately 8:15am

Parking:

• All day parking is $4.00 in general pay parking. Do not park at the metered spots. There is no free parking on campus.

Bring:

• Confirmation/Admission ticket (this can be printed from www.collegeboard.com if you registered online and did not print this off at the time or if you have not received your Admission Ticket by mail)
• Social Insurance Number
• valid picture ID (driver's license, current passport, school ID card, BC ID card)
• two number 2 (soft lead) pencils (no mechanical pencils), eraser, pen, calculator (non-programmable)
• something to eat and drink during test breaks

Scores:

• available online after test date if you pre-registered. Keep your registration number and pin to access your results..
