Kevin Karstad
Automotive Shop Assistant
Journeyperson Auto Technician
Kevin has been a licensed Automotive Technician for 12 years. He started his career in the Commercial Transport repair trade and then switched to Automotive. He took all of his automotive training at Vancouver Island University and he has worked as a technician in Automotive shops in the Duncan area.
Kevin's duties include looking after the tools and equipment in the auto shop and also helping students with their shop assignments.

Glen Galloway
Glen Galloway has been in the automotive technician trade for 36 years. He has been instructing at Vancouver Island University for 15 years. Certification includes Journeyman Automotive Technician with Interprovincial Red Seal Standard, Instructor"s diploma, journeyman partsman certification, and numerous on going courses and certificates.Glen was a business owner of an automotive shop for 12 years doing general automotive repairs, but also specialized in engine rebuilding and automatic transmissions. He instructed at Lakeland College, Vermilion Alberta and assisted in the development of the apprenticeship program at that time. He participates in upgrading courses and consults with industry on a regular basis. His hobbies include competive motorsports and music.

Gary Doolin
Automotive Instructor,
I.D., Journeyperson Auto Technician
Gary is a journeyperson Automotive Technician with 18 years experience working in the trade, and ten years working as an Automotive instructor at Vancouver Island University.
He has worked as a technician in various automotive businesses from small garages to large dealerships in Alberta and British Columbia.
Since becoming an instructor, Gary has completed the Instructor Diploma program and has kept current with automotive technology and repair techniques by taking many automotive upgrading courses.
