Parksville•Qualicum Centre

The Parksville•Qualicum Centre offers programs in adult literacy, Academic and Career Preparation, university studies, continuing education, and contract training. Programs reflect the unique needs of the region served and provide a front door for students to all University programs. The Centre is located in the Parksville Civic & Technology Centre, along with City of Parksville municipal offices, the Qualicum School District administration offices, and the Vancouver Island Regional Library. This bold new partnership concept is the first of its kind in Canada and is designed to create a ‘learning community.’ It directly links education to community and regional economic development through the creation of a regional centre for innovation in information technology education.
