Vancouver Island University is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in research involving human subjects and to seeing that the safety, health, welfare, and rights of subjects are adequately protected. Individuals working under the aegis of the University and/or those seeking approval of the University for research on campus, should consult and be aware of VIU Policy Number 31.03, prior to engaging in research involving human subjects.
