Fees: Credit-based Undergraduate Programs
Description of Fees and Rates for domestic students:
- Enhanced Tuition: $175.00 per credit.
- Student Activity fee: 4% of tuition.
- VIU Students' Union fee: $17.25 per month.
- Health and Dental Plan fee: $286 per year.
- Other fees: Some courses have additional fees to pay for extraordinary class–related expenses.

Notes:
- Students taking the program at Cowichan Campus will pay a reduced VIU Students' Union fee of $10.34 per month and will not be charged the Health and Dental Plan fee of $286 per year.
- Students are responsible for practice insurance and association fees, and travel expenses to practicum sites in Nanaimo and Duncan.
- The Licensed Practical Nursing Council of British Columbia will require a license examination fee at the end of the program.
