Fees: Trades & Applied Technology Programs

Description of Fees and Rates for domestic students:

  1. Tuition: $385.92 per month.
  2. Student Activity fee: 4% of tuition.
  3. VIU Students' Union fee: $16.61 per month.
  4. Health and Dental Plan fee: $286 per year; this fee is only in effect for trades or vocational students in programs that are eight (8) months or longer at the Nanaimo Campus.
  5. Other fees: Some courses have additional fees to pay for extraordinary class–related expenses.
