Teresa at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore in Nanaimo loves having the students work at the store. She says that her favourite part of working there is that "you can see the results of your work" with the local volunteer work.

Darlene accepted an offer of paid employment at Winners, her on-the-job training location. The Store Manager, Irene Clark, has wonderful things to say about her new employee: "Darlene is presently here on her work experience and we love her. She's worked in many different areas of the store, including warehousing, processing goods coming into the store, unpacking giftware, hanging clothes, organizing new stock, cleaning, and helping to make our goods presentable for our customers."
