Vancouver Island University P/Q Centre's Tutoring Program is free to adults who want to learn stronger skills in reading, spelling, writing, grammar, basic math or English-as-a-Second Language. This one-to-one tutoring program is available to adults (18+) in the Oceanside/District 69 community.  

 

We also offer free volunteer tutor training courses (Fall and Spring), for 5 Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.

Text Box: FEES/WITHDRAWALS/ATTENDANCE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FEES: The registration and fee information included are for Canadian students only. Contact the International Education office: by phone: 250-740 6316 or email: study@viu.ca for information. International students must apply by following the international student application procedure. FEES are locked in at the end of the second week of classes and you will be billed as of that date even if you don’t attend or later withdraw. Fees are due 28 days after the first day of class. If you do not pay your fees they will remain owing. WITHDRAWAL: If you need to withdraw you must do so officially by dropping into the Reception Office or phoning: 248-2096. A grade of “F” will be assigned if no official withdrawal is requested within the first 8 weeks of classes. ATTENDANCE POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class please contact the reception office (248-2096) to let your instructor(s) know.
