Community Based Research Workshop, May 6th, 2010

On May 6th faculty members and community members (43 participants) attended a one day workshop on community based research. Topics included 10 best practices and case studies for each part of the process of research: working with vulnerable populations and other cultures and building relationships, writing collaborative grant proposals, evaluation, and, creative research methods such as story capturing with video and community mapping.
