Darlene Donaldson,
Instructor, Esthetics

With over twelve years experience as owner-operator of Season’s Day Spa in Nanaimo, Darlene is eager to share her expertise with learners. She is a certified esthetician with a strong focus in microdermabrasion and well known for her attention to detail and customer service. Her lengthy background in the employee relations field enabled her to develop effective interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and team building. She is a life long learner and volunteers her time and skills within cancer clinics and hospice.

Lesley Osborne,

Lesley comes to us with over 23 years experience in the field of esthetics. As owner-operator of Lesley’s Esthetics & Accessories in Parksville she brings content expertise as well as extensive management and business experience. Her educational background includes a diploma in Cosmetology, certificate in Electrolyisis and she is currently completing her Provincial Instructor Diploma program. Lesley brings instructional experience to this position and she is eager to ensure VIU’s Esthetics Certificate is well known for quality and excellence.
