Volunteer/Lay Counsellor Training
Vancouver Island University (VIU) supports the Volunteer/Lay Counsellor Training programs at Nanaimo Family Life Association (NFLA) and Ladysmith Resources Centre Association (LRCA). VIU offers Counselling Skills Level I and Level II, which are prerequisites for students who choose to continue their studies in Volunteer/Lay Counsellor Training at NFLA or LRCA.
