Stephen Guppy

Stephen Guppy (Fiction, Poetry), B.A., Cert.Ed., M.A. (Victoria) has published a novel, a book of short stories, and three books of poems. His stories have appeared in Best Canadian Stories, The Journey Prize Anthology, and The Prentice-Hall Guide to Student Writing. He has won second prize in the Scottish International Open Poetry Competition and been short-listed for the Journey Prize, the Dorothy Livesay Prize for Poetry, and the Lexicon Poetry Prize. His latest collection of stories, The Work of Mercy, was recently published by Thomas Allen Publishers of Toronto.
