The CTC enables students to begin post-secondary (university/college) trades and technical programs during their Grade 11 and 12 High School years...Students who successfully get into CTC-partnered post-secondary programs also benefit from significantly reduced tuition fees.
Canadian Federation of Chefs and Cooks
Since its inception, the Association has enjoyed a deep and long-standing tradition as Canada's true representation of the professional chef and cook.
Its traditions and ethics are centered on decades of fellowship, honour, professional respect and the ongoing search for knowledge that challenges all aspects of food preparation to its limits.
The Federation is a Federally Chartered, not for profit, organization and is managed by a member elected board of directors. Its membership is derived from Regional and City Branches who maintain affiliation with the CCFCC by way of charter and acceptance of National Bylaws.

Heritage Foodservice Co-op
The Islands Good Food Initiative is a broad based partnership aimed strengthening food system sustainability on Vancouver Island. The initiative is working on several fronts including promoting ‘sustainable institutional food purchasing’, ‘access to finance’, ‘food system labour force development’ etc. A major outcome of this initiative is the Heritage Foodservice Co-op which is a business alliance bringing together farmers, island food businesses and community organizations interested in development of a short distance food system infrastructure on the island. The co-op is planning for a value-added co-packing facility in Nanaimo and a range of value-added food products to boost farmer’s incomes and help increase the supply of food grown here.
