Your generous donations will help us build connections between marine conservation, coastal communities, sustainable seafood and education.
The Field Station is a self supporting facility operated by Vancouver Island University. We have a goal of providing significant coastal community benefit through research and public education. We derive our funding from projects, research activities, grants, donations, facility rentals, and related public activities. Our ability to expand our public activities is dependant on the generosity of donors and support from the community. If you share our vision, please help us by contributing to this ambitious project.
There are many ways that you can contribute. Donors can make a one-time gift or a pledge over three to five years for a more sustaining impact. You can contribute to the Station's activities in general or help sponsor a specific project or portion of the Field Station. All donations to the Field Station are tax deductible through the Vancouver Island University Foundation.
To further discuss how you can become a partner and significantly affect the future development of the Station and our activities. please contact the Station staff or Julie Keenan, Director of Advancement & Alumni Relations.
