Students with Epilepsy
While students with epilepsy usually take medication to control seizure activity there still remains a chance that a student may experience a seizure while on campus. If this occurs, call 6600 for Emergency Services on any campus phone. You should never try to restrain a student having a seizure. Following the seizure, a student may need a place to rest. Other accommodations may include permission to discuss alternate assignment deadlines, extra time and a distraction free location for exams.
