Teaching Appointments
Brent McConnell (Grad 1997) returns from several years teaching in the UAE and joins the Calgary School District.
Linda Howey (Grad 2007) is working as a low incidence support teacher at NIDES (North Island Distance Education School.)
Sophia Aristou (Grad 2006) is working for SMOE: Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education in South Korea and is teaching ESL at Hongik Boys' Middle School.
Jennifer Koganow (Grad 2007) is teaching Grade 3 at Derek Taylor Elementary in Grande Prairie Alberta and just wone the awards for beginning teacher of the Year for her district. Congratulations Jenn!
Lori Henry (Fitzpatrick)(Grad 2007) is teaching Grade 7 at Neill Middle School in Port Alberni.
Richard Austen (Grad 2005) is enjoying teaching Grade 10 in Wenzhou, China
Dave Fraser (Grad 2007) is teaching technology education at Dover Bay Secondary and calls it the “job of his dreams.”
Kacy Morgan (Grad 2007) is in Dubai teaching grade 1 at the International School there.
Pattie Metheral (Grad 2001) is a Grade 10 Counselor at Collingwood School in West Vancouver.
Stephen Colvin (Grad 2007) checks in from the Maple Leaf International School in Dalian, China where he teaches one Grade 10 English and two Grade 11 Communications classes. He is also a proud new Dad!
Megan Foss (Grad 2006) is teaching at the International School in Cairo, Egypt where she joins fellow grad Mindy Elgie.
Ian McLaughlin (Grad 2002) is in Toronto teaching at a technology mediated school where he is also the computer committee chair and tech chair.
Wendie Jensen (Grad 2007) is a busy TOC in Port Hardy.
Lenore Aspell (Grad 2003) teaches grade 11 for District 91 in Vanderhoof, BC.
Amanda Burrows (Grad 2007) is teaching K/1/2 at Zeballos Elementary Secondary School (SD84).
Keri Blacker (Grad 2003) is Principal at Coast Tsimshian Academy in Lax Kw Alaams, BC. Her Vice-Principal is fellow program grad Nav Chocker (Grad 2002)
Sean Padley (Grad 2006) is busy with his graduate studies in the Masters of Education - Organizational Studies (administration) program at the University of Ottawa
