Jennifer Brownlow is the Education Librarian and also one of the team of Vancouver Island University's Reference Librarians. Her office is in the Curriculum Lab which contains resources to support Vancouver Island University's Teacher Education program. The students have access to a good selection of electronic databases which are available both on campus and from home.
Jennifer's B.A. was in French. She received her Master of Library Science degree from the University of Toronto. Jennifer has been at Vancouver Island University (previously called Malaspina University-College) for over ten years. Before that she was on the East Coast of Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia at Dalhousie University's School of Library and Information Studies, and in Antigonish, Nova Scotia where she ran a Learning Centre for mature students.
