Vietnam Tra Vinh Project Continue with Our Vietnamese Friends January 2006
Dean Mike Grant is delighted to be working once again with Tra Vihn College instructors as he carries on project work in Vietnam this February. The project's goal is to develop cooperative and progressive teaching methods to integrate into the Vietnamese teaching model.
Last semester Mary Abbott (Advising and Pathways to Teaching Co-ordinator) and Social Studies Methods instructor Neil Smith continued their rewarding work with Tra Vihn, Vietnam community college instructors.

Dean Mike Grant carries on the good work as his visits Vietnam to continue with the project in February 2006. Our Vietnamese colleagues returned to Canada for a third visit last November to work with Mary and Neil. Both faculty members continue to be impressed with the commitment their Vietnamese colleagues have made to improve the quality of instruction and the variety of instructional methods they use in their practice. The team is working from the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) classrooms on the fourth floor of the new Library-- room with a view. Our colleagues returned back to Vietnam last November to put their new knowledge into practice.
