Welcome to Vancouver Island University. We hope that your employment here will be successful, rewarding and enjoyable.

Our aim is to ensure that you are quickly able to get answers to the many questions you will have when you join us at VIU. So, to start you off, please visit the following links General Information and Faculty Help for information.

You'll also want to look at the employee checklist to ensure your email is set up, that Payroll has all the information to ensure you receive your pay and that you are enrolled in benefits, and if necessary you've arranged parking on campus.

Also we want you to know where to eat on campus, how to use the library, and where to get business cards printed. Answers to these questions can be found at Services.

VIU delivers an Employee Orientation annually. Representatives from numerous areas provide information about programs and services.

Be sure to sign up for Summer Orientation via InVIU intranet, as you will be introduced to key people and valuable resources.
