ACA - Pilot Program - "Scheduled Phases"

Typical Year - Proposed Schedule:

The following proposal details the phases in the proposed schedule, which would take place in any given year.

SAMPLE - Fiscal 2009-2010

Phase Descriptions:

Identify, Prioritize, Schematic Planning Phase (1 to 9 months)

This phase compiles the ACA projects in preparation for approval submission.

• schematic planning of priority projects takes place,
• updated estimates,
• Review of priority projects in coordination schematic planning.

To Executive Review and Approval Phase(1 to 3 months)

This phase see the submission of the ACA Minor Capital projects identified and preplanned in the previous phase.

Detail Planning Phase (1 to 6 months)

Projects approved are taken forward to detail planning.  Once details estimates are completed a final program review is completed to balance any preplanning discrepancies.

Tender and Award Phase (1 to 3 months)

Projects are tendered and awarded for construction. A project budget review takes place to balance and estimated discrepancies.

Project Implementation Phase (1 to 9 months)

Approved projects taken through construction.

Project closeout Phase (1 to 3 months)

With construction now complete the facility information is updated through an as-built process.
