Sunyani
Sunyani is the capital city of the Brong-Ahafo region and was voted the cleanest city in Ghana in 2007. It is home to 80,245 people and is located in the mid west of the country.
The area is home to many primary and secondary schools. In addition, Sunyani also has four tertiary institutions including Sunyani Polytechnic and the Faculty of Forest Resource Technology.
The area lies in the wet savanna region and is a key producer of cocoa, kola nuts, maize and cassava. Currently the economy is predominantly agrarian based. However, forestry and tourism are growing industries. The region of sunyani is home to tourist attractions such as Fuller Falls, Dormaa Monkey Sanctuary, Tano Boase, Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary and Kintampo Waterfalls. Nanaimo
Nanaimo is home to 78,692 people, according to the 2006 Canadian census. It is the second largest city on Vancouver Island. It is located centrally on the east coast of vancouver island and is a major port and access point for the whole island
The primary economic generators in the region include the forest industry, and the marine and tourism industries. Tourists visit the area for the abundant recreational activities that surround the city on the mountains and the beaches. It is also referred to as 'the festival city' as it is a host to dozens of festivals throughout the year. The most famous of which is the Marine Festival and World Championship Bathtub Race.
