2012 Study Tour
Goal of Project
To help reduce poverty in the Sunyani Region of Ghana through capacity building in environmental education, with two partner institutions in Ghana.
Project Activities
Students will spend one month traveling to multiple destinations for research and cultural awareness purposes (e.g., Sunyani, Wechiau, Mole National Park, Larabanga, and the PAPR Meetings) before returning to Larabanga to complete a five week internship focused on community-development and tourism enterprise development.

Project Commitment
- Weekly team meetings, involvement in fundraising and project promotion
- Full participation in study tour

Tuition for a 3 credit course (TRMT 391)

- Additional costs for optional internship (additional 8-12 weeks in Ghana)
