EXCHANGE
The exchange program allows you to travel and study abroad for one or two semesters while earning credit towards your program at VIU.
FIELD SCHOOLS
Field schools can range from excavating a Neanderthal cave site to international business in China. Field schools are credit programs that range from 10 days and 6 weeks abroad, and are led by VIU faculty members.
LANGUAGE AND CULTURE
A language & culture program provides intensive instruction while offering the unique opportunity to have first hand experience with your host culture. Students participate in organized extracurricular activities, day trips, and field trips and take part in cultural and educational activities such as visits to museums, theatres and other cultural sites related to coursework.
INTERNSHIP AND PRACTICA
Participating on one of our overseas internships will allow you to fulfill your internship requirement for your program, while providing the opportunity to live and work in a foreign country.
