Why be an Early Childhood Educator?
As a new preschool teacher I have been asked
by many parents why I decided to work in this profession.
I think that the first and most important reason was and still
is my love for children. I believe that high quality early
childhood experiences offer children the opportunity to reach
their full potential and I feel that my ability to communicate
well with both children and adults lead me to this profession.
I also wanted to have a career that offered variety, challenges,
and an opportunity to advance as my skills and knowledge expanded.
A career as an early childhood professional fulfilled all
my wishes.
