Published by the University of Calgary (2004), this is an excellent resource for undergraduate history students. It provides guidance on writing essays and book reviews, along with detailed directions on presenting reference notes and bibliographies.

Citation Style Guides for Internet and Electronic Sources
A very useful student guide, prepared by librarians at the University of Alberta. "Internet and electronic information, with no print equivalents, presents new challenges to scholars. Increasingly information is being published only in electronic formats, and questions about how to cite these sources in academic papers have become frequent at library reference desks." History students using this guide should consult Citation Examples following the Chicago Style.

History Students' Study Guide
This comprehensive handbook was prepared by faculty at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. It covers a wide range of topics relating to the study of history.
