Degree Opportunities

An exciting option after gaining a Diploma in Hospitality Management at VIU is the opportunity to continue on to a degree, which can, for the inspired graduate, open doors beyond the worlds of supervisory and middle management. Whether you enter into a degree program directly, or take a break in the industry to gain a more solid life-experience base, the option is yours!

Graduates from the Hospitality Management Diploma program may apply for entry into the third year of the:

  • Bachelor of Tourism Management program at Vancouver Island University,
  • Bachelor of Commerce - Hotel and Restaurant Management Program at the University of Victoria,
  • Bachelor of Hotel and Resort Management Program at the University of Calgary,
  • Bachelor of Commerce at Royal Roads University,
  • Bachelor of Business Administration at University of New Brunswick,
  • Bachelor of Business (Hospitality & Tourism) at La Trobe University, Australia.
