Vancouver Island University/INMANTEC Post Degree Diploma in Business Studies (PDDB) Program

Introduction

Vancouver Island University (VIU) has established a cooperative agreement with the Integrated Academy of management and Technology (INMANTEC) in India to deliver the VIU Post Degree Diploma in Business Studies (PDDB) on the INMANTEC campus in India.

Program highlights

INMANTEC's students are given the opportunity to travel to Canada to complete an accelerated course at VIU.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded the PDDB credential from VIU and the PGDM credential from INMANTEC concurrently.

Integrated Academy of Management and Technology (INMANTEC)

INMANTEC, is committed to excellence in education and has been set up in the Indian industrial city of Ghaziabad, about 20 kilometres from the National Capital, New Delhi. The campus is a blend of architectural splendour and functional convenience. Post Degree Diploma in Business Studies Cooperation

Today’s global business environment is a fast-paced requiring managers with specialized skills. Rapid changes in technology, resource allocation, structural shifts in the economy, changes in consumer preferences, global competition, and shifts in the employment market all require a better understanding of the role and nature of business in today’s society.

The VIU/INMANTEC Post-Degree Diploma is a specialized short, focused program designed for students who have graduated from non-business or business degrees. These programs expose participants to their choice of management and leadership, marketing or finance. The PDD provides students with a way to achieve their ultimate goal of further graduate study or to support their entry into the business world.

Post Degree Diploma students develop an appreciation and understanding of how to achieve organizational objectives in an often diverse and turbulent environment. Lectures are supported by seminars, research projects and computer simulations.

Admission Requirements

The applicant must have a university degree from a recognized institution, from a business or non-business program. To meet English language requirements, students must have completed VIU's English Language Program, or have already achieved a minimum TOEFL 550, TOEFL Computer Based Test (CBT) 213, TOEFL iBT 80 with no section lower than 19, IELTS 6.0, CAEL 60, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (min."B"), Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (min."B"), or meet INMANTEC's English language requirement.

Students who graduate from this program with a minimum of a ‘B’ average are eligible to enter the VIU MBA/MScIB dual degree program.
