Leslie became part of Marketing & Recruitment for Vancouver Island University in the Fall of 2012, but she began her career as a student of VIU’s BA Program, with a major in Global Studies and minor in Business.   With this personal experience, Leslie is a liaison for students, parents, counsellors and agents, and is happy to share her knowledge about our programs, research, student work opportunities and wonderful West Coast lifestyle.  She travels throughout Canada, Mexico, Latin America and Eastern Europe and looks forward to welcoming you to VIU!

Gareth joined the VIU International Marketing and Recruitment team in February, 2013. Having grown up in Nanaimo, Gareth is proud of his Vancouver Island roots and happy to share his familiarity of both the university and its surrounding environment to those interested in learning more.  Before returning to his Island home, Gareth had the opportunity to spend upwards of 9 years working in Taiwan and travelling throughout South East Asia.

Gareth will be focusing his marketing and recruitment efforts within the Chinese, Middle Eastern, African and U.S. markets. Feel free to contact Gareth at any time regarding your interest in VIU.

Terry Dolan is the Assistant, Marketing & Recruitment and has worked at Vancouver Island University for the past 22 years in Finance, Registration, and now in the International Department. Terry provides general office support for the Marketing and Recruitment team as well as agent relations including contracts, commission payments, and other inquiries. Terry looks forward to welcoming all of our international students!

Deborah Marshall is the Administrative Assistant - Travel for Vancouver Island University and has been with the Institution for 4 years.  With over 25 years experience working in the travel industry she is able to assist the Dean and Marketing Team of International Education with any travel around the world.
