To All Fellow Liberal Studies Alumni: If you are like me, now that you are graduated and involved with daily living, you are really missing the intellectual boost that participating in the Liberal Studies Program gave. I get emails occasionally from friends I made at College – but not nearly often enough. Of course, I am still reading, and I often go to concerts and art galleries but I really miss the discussion that made me become more involved in the experience. After speaking to a few other alumni who were also missing Liberal Studies, we decided to put together a first seminar to see how much interest there would be in forming a VIU Liberal Studies Alumni Club. The concept is to meet once a month for a seminar, a lecture, a concert, a symposium etc.
