International Exchanges and Study Abroad

The Faculty of Management's participation in VIU's International Exchanges and Study Abroad program gives students the opportunity to travel to a foreign country to do business courses for credit in other institutions, to take part in international business internships, and to participate in field schools or exchanges.

Students have the opportunity to participate in these programs with the following partner institutions:

University of Canberra - Australia (a full range of university courses in business and management is offered)

Deakin University - Melbourne, Australia (a full range of university courses in business and management is offered, and business internships, are available)

Victoria University - Melbourne, Australia (a full range of university courses in business and management is offered)

University of Hertfordshire - Hatfield, UK (a full range of university courses in business and management is offered)

Tampere Polytechnic, Uni. of Applied Sciences - Tampere, Finland (courses in business offered in English, and business internships, are available)

Burgundy School of Business - Dijon, France (courses in business offered in English are available)

Université de Bourgogne - Auxeurre, France (courses in business offered in French, and business internships, are available)

Hogeschool Utrecht - Utrecht, Netherlands (courses in business are available, and a dual degree in business is possible)

INHOLLAND University - Dieman/Amsterdam, Netherlands (for tourism majors only - courses offered in English)

Bay of Plenty Polytechnic - Waikato, New Zealand (Lower level courses are available in business, tourism, and hospitality)

UNITEC - Auckland, New Zealand (business courses are available)

Western State College  of Colorado - Gunnison, USA (for recreation majors only)
