Off-Campus Work
The Career Centre provides on-line postings of part-time jobs and career postings. They host a Career Fair each spring to allow students to meet corporate recruiters.
International Students
While studying at Vancouver Island University, international academic students on study permits are eligible to work off-campus for up to 20 hours a week while studying. These students are also eligible to work full-time during scheduled breaks including the 4 month summer vacation and 3 week winter vacation. This provides MBA/MScIB students with a valuable opportunity to gain Canadian work experience while studying.

After Graduation
International MBA/MScIB graduates from VIU are eligible to work in Canada for 14 months to 3 years. The MBA internship will provide students with important Canadian work experience to support their longer term work prospects world wide.
