MBA Internship Opportunity

Thank you for considering hosting an MBA intern from Vancouver Island University!  We have two groups of students commencing internships every July and November.

Here is a basic overview of the internship: 

• Internships are usually project based and relate to the intern’s MBA program of study.  It is expected that much of the interns’s project is self-directed with mentoring and adequate resources provided by the hosting organization.
• Internship project is 16 weeks in length with a 24 hours per week minimum.
• A mentor is identified in the hosting organization and this mentor completes two evaluations of the intern as well as meets regularly with the intern throughout the internship process.
• There is no expectation of pay but compensation is allowed.
• We work with all sizes of organizations.
• Each intern is supported by his MBA Internship Coordinator and an MBA faculty member.
