Thanks to Tyrel for doing a GREAT job on the Steller sea lion rearticulation! The rearticulation is done in such a way that the base can be wheeled into a classroom setting. The flipper bone structures can also be rotated inwards in order to protect them when moving, yet rotated into the appropriate place for a realistic look! Excellent work!

One example is the new prairie mural surrounding the Bison wall mount. ( as seen to the right)

It is wonderful to see the students working on graded projects and providing a contribution to the updates the Museum has undergone. Thanks!

Special Thanks:

Special thanks goes out to the three work-op students (Michelle, Launi and Nicole) who were very dedicated to the museum over the 2009-2010 academic year. Your contributions to having regular open hours three days per week saw a huge increase in visitor access to the displays. Your creative spirit and motivation to seeing the projects through have been a great asset to the museum and we THANK YOU !!
