$35.9-million investment will create jobs, support research and improve health care


Canadians will be better equipped for the well-paying middle-class jobs of today and tomorrow with a $35.9-million federal-provincial investment in Vancouver Island University's (VIU) new $39.9-million Health and Science Centre.


This brings the total provincial and federal investment in new infrastructure at VIU announced since December 2016 to $62.3 million. The total investment figure also includes funding from VIU and community partners of the University.
