A comprehensive two-day review of salmonid biology, including a thorough review of the classification, general and specific life history traits, and (fresh and saltwater) habitat requirements for twenty-six salmonid species common to North America.

Objective:

This course will provide participants with in-depth knowledge of salmonid life histories and habitat requirements, and facilitate habitat-related (assessment inventory, restoration) and management level decision-making processes.

Prerequisites:

No formal prerequisites exist.
