Darren Hebert, PID, RPBio
(On leave; February 2011 to January 2012)
Darren is a registered professional biologist (RPBio.) and Provincial Instructor Diploma graduate with 26 years of experience in fisheries and environmental management, as well as 14 years experience in educational planning, development, leadership and training.
Darren has delivered NREP training since 1996. Previously, he developed and taught fisheries and environmental programs with: DFO Aboriginal Fisheries Strategy (AFS), Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT), BC provincial/UBC Watershed Restoration Program (WRP), Thompson Rivers University (TRU), BC provincial Resource Inventory Committee (RIC), Forestry Continuing Studies Network (FCSN), DFO Streamkeepers, and the DFO Aboriginal Guardian Program.
Since 2005, Darren has remained very busy managing the Natural Resources Extension Program. Still, he is periodically able to sneak away to teach various fisheries and environmental extension programs.
