Adult Basic Education
Effective Jan. 1, 2008 ABE courses will be tuition free.
Textbooks are extra and are required for most courses.
New students must complete an application form [prior to registering] and pay a one-time, non-refundable Application Fee of $35.70.
All students pay a non-refundable Student Society Fee each term.
Financial Aid may be available through the A.B.E. Student Assistance Program (ABESAP Grant). Ask Registration staff for an application.
Attendance: If you are unable to attend a class please contact the reception office (248-2096) to let your instructor(s) know.
Withdrawal: If you need to withdraw you must do so officially. If you officially withdraw from a course, the fees are refundable as follows:
- Up to the end of the second week of classes, fees are 100% refundable.
- After the second week of classes no refund will be made.
A grade of “F” will be assigned at the end of the semester if no official withdrawal is requested.
