Further Studies
Many degree options currently exist into which this diploma will ladder. This means that all or most of your course work completed in this diploma will be recognized and that you can apply to the third year of a degree program if you choose to further your education. If you are interested in the development of management and entrepreneurial skills needed to assume greater responsibility in an organization or to start a new enterprise, please consider VIU's Tourism and Recreation degree program. You can enter the third year of the program to complete a Bachelor of Tourism Management, Major in Recreation. Other institutions also recognize the VIU Diploma for placement in degree programs.
